Visibility Score
The Visibility Score measures how often your brand appears in AI recommendations when users ask buyer-intent questions in your category. It's expressed as a percentage from 0% to 100%.
How It's Calculated
We send 100 blind test prompts to each AI model. For each response, we check whether your brand is mentioned anywhere in the recommendation list. Visibility is weighted by position — being recommended #1 counts more than being mentioned #8. A score of 72% means you're appearing in roughly 72 out of 100 relevant queries, weighted by how prominently you're featured.
Performance Levels
Above 60% is strong — AI regularly recommends you. Between 30–60% is moderate — you appear but inconsistently, with room for improvement. Below 30% means you're largely invisible to AI in your category. At 0%, the model doesn't mention you at all for any of your buyer-intent prompts.
Categories
Your prompts are organized into categories based on buyer intent — for example, "Task Management," "Team Collaboration," or "Enterprise Security." The Visibility tab shows a breakdown by category so you can see where you're strongest and where you have blind spots. Some categories might show 84% visibility while others show 0% — this tells you exactly where to focus your optimization efforts.
What Affects Visibility
AI models build their recommendations from training data, web content, and real-time search. Your website content, product documentation, review sites, comparison articles, and press coverage all influence whether AI knows about you and considers you relevant for specific queries.
